For the second year in a row, GANO set up its networking booth to re-engage with alumni members. To create a memorable experience for the 648 Business School alumni and students who registered for the event, GANO brought in a self-service photo kiosk at their booth. Alumni members could capture reunions with classmates and create memories with family and friends and share them online.
“We wanted to do something that would capture the spirit of the event to provide our alumni and their families with lasting memories. It was hard work, but totally worth it,” says Hamidah Puteh, manager at GANO. “We hope to come up with more creative and fun activities at our booth next year.”
The photo booth was so popular that even alumni from other faculties were keen to share a photo moment with their friends! Fun and quirky photo memories were created as many of our alumni, as well as NUS colleagues, stopped by with their families in tow. NUS President Tan Chor Chuan and former President Shih, including his entourage, also made a stop at our booth.
This year’s family day attracted a crowd of almost 5,000 alumni, students, staff and family members. With games and activities such as face-painting, mini golf, balloon tossing, giant block stacking and even photo opportunities with the stunning Rag Floats, colourful stilt-walkers and cartoon characters, there was never a dull moment.
